Tellercraft

Terms of Service

The rules for using Tellercraft.

Last updated: 5 September 2026

1. General

These Terms govern the electronic service provided by Marek Nowicki, operating under the Nex41 brand ("Operator", "we") through Tellercraft, available at tellercraft.com (the "Service").

Contact: hello@tellercraft.com.

Matters not covered here are governed by applicable law and the GDPR. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

2. What the Service is

Tellercraft is a fiction-writing learning tool: an interactive AI coach that reads your text and gives craft guidance, plus a creative notebook.

The Service uses third-party AI language models. Coach responses are educational; the coach teaches the craft and does not write your text for you.

3. Account & access

Using the Service requires an account (email + password) and an active subscription or trial.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting hello@tellercraft.com. Deletion is irreversible and cancels your subscription.

4. Plans, trial & payment

The Service is offered on subscription plans (Scribe, Author). Current prices are at /pricing and may change with 30 days’ notice.

A new subscription starts with a 5-day free trial that requires a card. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription. You can cancel anytime via the customer portal (Profile → Subscription).

Payments are handled by Stripe as Merchant of Record. Stripe charges and remits VAT and sends a tax receipt after each transaction. Charges appear as "NEX41" on your statement. We do not store card details.

Right of withdrawal (14 days): by starting to use the digital service during the trial, you consent to immediate performance and acknowledge losing the right of withdrawal for the part already performed.

5. Intellectual property

The text, notes and other content you create remain yours. We claim no rights to them. You grant us only the limited technical licence needed to run the Service (storing your content and sending it to the AI model to generate guidance).

The Service’s interface and materials are owned or licensed by the Operator and protected by copyright.

6. Acceptable use

Use the Service lawfully; do not misuse the AI (e.g. to generate unlawful content) or attempt to bypass plan limits.

7. Liability

The Service is provided with due care. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for creative decisions made on the basis of AI guidance. This does not limit consumer rights.

8. Complaints & disputes

Complaints: hello@tellercraft.com; handled within 14 days. Consumers may use the EU ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

9. Changes & final provisions

We notify material changes by email or in the Service with reasonable notice. Governing law: Polish law, subject to mandatory consumer protections.
